Soap on a Rope Exfoliating Bar

An oversized bar that cleanses and exfoliates in one step, built on syndet surfactants rather than traditional soap, so it lifts away oil and build-up without the tightness that follows most bar washes. It lathers richly and rinses clean.

The exfoliation works two ways. Volcanic pumice and jojoba seed powder buff the surface physically, while an acid complex of glycolic, malic and mandelic works alongside gluconolactone, a PHA that exfoliates gently and hydrates at the same time. Shea butter and coconut oil keep the whole thing comfortable. It comes on a rope so it hangs to dry between showers, which extends the life of the bar considerably, and the fragrance carries through the room while it does.

Three scents. Cedar Supreme is warm and enveloping with a crisp edge, bergamot and artemisia over lavender and labdanum, settling into ambroxan, cedarwood, amber and tonka bean absolute. Bergamot Bond is the freshest of the three, bergamot and lavender over bamboo, peony and verbena, drying down to skin musks, cashmere wood and amber. Lover's Leather is the darkest and most assertive, saffron and thyme over leather, geranium and clove, finishing in patchouli, agarwood and sandalwood.

Rough or uneven texture on the body, especially arms, legs and feet. Suits most skin types.

How to use

Massage onto wet skin and work into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Hang to dry between uses.
