A concentrated serum foundation from a makeup artist whose working life is spent putting faces in front of cameras, which shows in how it behaves. Medium to full coverage from a very small amount, with a hydrated, naturally blurred finish rather than a flat matte one. It photographs well and it doesn't settle into texture.
The formula is unusually skincare-led for something with this much coverage. Hydrolysed hyaluronic acid and squalane hydrate, niacinamide and licorice root extract work on the look of evenness and brightness, and vitamin E adds antioxidant support. Blurring microspheres soften the appearance of pores and fine lines, and a polymer film holds everything in place through the day without ever feeling dry or tight.
Thirty-eight shades, all built on nuanced neutral undertones. That's a deliberate choice rather than a shortcut. Neutral tones balance the complexion instead of pushing it warm or cool, which makes matching more forgiving and stops the foundation drifting orange as the day goes on.
Best for
Medium to full coverage with a luminous finish. Suits all skin types and ages, including mature and combination skin.
How to use
Shake well. Squeeze a small amount, around the size of a five pence piece, onto the back of the hand. Starting at the centre of the face, blend outwards and down the neck with a brush. Build in thin layers for more coverage rather than applying more at once.
