Tabula Rasa Gentle Foaming Cleanser

An advanced foaming cleanser built around a newly optimised amino acid–based surfactant system, designed to cleanse effectively while protecting the skin barrier. The reformulation introduces rinse-resistant actives that remain on the skin after washing, supporting the microbiome, calming irritation, and maintaining hydration for up to four hours.

A high 10% concentration of glycerin is paired with two next-generation humectants engineered to resist rinsing, so skin stays hydrated rather than tight or stripped. 3% biomimetic phospholipids reinforce barrier lipids and lend the formula a cushioned, velvety feel during cleansing. Chlorella vulgaris extract, a biotechnology-derived microalgae, actively soothes irritation, while targeted pre- and post-biotics support a balanced skin microbiome.

The surfactant architecture has been independently tested to demonstrate the lowest ceramide solubilisation and the greatest reduction in transepidermal water loss during cleansing. Mild enough for sensitive skin, formulated for normal to oily types but suitable for dry skin too. Free from alcohol, essential oils, fragrance, and hidden preservatives.

How to use: Lather a nickel-sized amount into damp skin across the face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Use morning and evening, first in your routine. Follow immediately with serums or moisturiser for best results.
